Google places/ maps, for business is a joke?

Anyone else experience massive difficulty with google places. There's no contact numbers or email help. You ask questions on the google help forum with no replys. And google constantly mess up your listings, it's supposed to be a free service from google for local businesses to be found. It's such a shambles of a service it's unreal. I have google Adwords also which suprisingly as I have to pay for it is ok, but google do not give a shot about their customers. How can such a large company not even have a helpline???
