Having problems streaming video?

When streaming video on youtube or other websites, sometimes the screen turns completely green or looks like tv fuzz, hearing audio but not seeing any video. It seems to do this on all browsers, I've gone to countless forums looking for a way to fix this. Also uninstalled the browsers and re-installed them but to no avail. Any clues?
