What do the 'Yo Dawg' pictures mean?

people have been posting this recently in reply to my posts in some forum, and I sincerely have no idea what they are talking about, it's like referring to something that is already referenced but in a twisted way, that's my understanding. Can somebody enlighten me.. please?
